I made my practise block yesterday... there are 2 blocks to make , and so...
of course a bag was in order...
cannot just have poor orphan blocks hanging around! As you may remember I am off to Malvern on Sunday... British Quilt Championships ... so I will be looking for some fabric while I am there to make the whole quilt.
Who knew it could be sooo exciting?
I made another bag recently...
this one is for my very good friend .. she LOVES pink, shiny and elephants...
not for just anyone would I use PINK!! LOL

Adorable bags, Diane! Great idea to make a bag out of the blocks. I should do that. Someday!!
Well done with the pattern testing. It was a good idea to use the block for a bag and the pink one looks just right for your friend's taste
