... I had to pull on my armour and big girl knickers and tackle ... THE CIRCLES BLOCK... I had some extra motivation because....
...On Friday.... when I was stood in the queue at the butchers counter in the Market ...a ball of wool on the stall across the isle kept shouting my name !! The deal I made with myself was ....that... I could NOT make anything with the wool until I had defeated the monster.... and made that block!!!!
SO... first came the practice block..
....to iron out the mistakes and find my way into the block ...THEN ...
the block got made ...
Was it difficult... not really
was it fun... not really
would I make it again... what do you think!!
Its done ... and will be in the post tomorrow .. and DONE!!!! thank goodness x
SO ... off to make something with my ball of wool..
I LOVE IT XX.... and she said she will be getting other colours in stock .. I will just have to call back and see what she gets xx

Hooray! It's done!
That is a very cute critter. I love his wry smile.
Well done for making the block! It's about bloody time hahaha! I love the psychedelic wool :) xxx
I LOVE your block - well done indeed! As for making it again, I've had a few of those 'never again' blocks (one was for a bee a few months ago). I am always happy for the experience but am certain I will not be going back to experience it again! I can see why that beautiful wool motivated you - too cute!!
I'm so glad to hear that you finally plucked up the courage to make the block! See, it's all over now and you can knit psychedelic hippos to your hearts content!! I love him, will you send me the pattern? I want to make one just like him!!
Yeah for you and the hippo is just adorable.
That block looks gorgeous! and will you make it again? Probably! Now you know what you are doing, you will get tempted... surely!
Hippo looks good too!
Bet you feel good now that the circle block is out of the way. Even the hippo looks happy about it.
The circle block looks fab, but the "reward" looks even better!!!!
