THURSDAY NIGHT WAS....

... Sandbach Quilt group meeting ..... I took along the latest fundraising idea for the ladies. This time it was a hand sewing idea...

I made a few as inspiration... YES as usual I got a bit carried away .. but hey they can all go onto the stall in September. xx

On the night we had a visitor .. Edna who is a local trader .... I DID resist .... I know!!... it is because I am getting up early tomorrow to get on the coach and go to ..

so I am saving my money for that xx .... as a pensioner I now get a concession..YaY xx

Edna .. the trader .. had brought along packs for us to make a sew tidy ... I made mine today...

As usual with the first try there are things that can be improved on ... and the fabrics are not my choice. (but they came in the pack and I wasn't going to waste them!! lol ) . I am pretty sure there will be another of these little guys in my future xx lol x

mmm wonder if I make a list for tomorrow ....

1. will I keep to it?

2. Will I remember to take it with me?

MAYBE I will just wing it and see what presents itself and jumps into my bag xx lol x

Have a fun weekend x

How can my house have hundreds of owls and not one like that? Oh, but it is a cleaver little fellow.

Just wanted to say that I love your blog - I've just found it while trying to find a quilting group in Congleton! (I'd love to learn to quilt and am hoping that some kind folk in the Congleton quilting group might take pity on me and help me learn) I don't suppose you could tell me when they meet?
