SO .....this morning (before he had a chance to change his mind!!) mum and I bundled him up ... and off we went to North Wales ...
we had the most wonderful day in Prestayn x He slept most of the way home .. but who cares xx Hopefully he will agree to more outings... soon ...Fingers crossed x
OF COURSE .. on the way we has to pass through Mostyn... which means ... Abakhan!!.. well we all needed a toilet and brew stop!! lol x
I PROMISED myself to NOT buy fabric .. this is my year to... USE SOME OF THAT FABRIC BEFORE THE FLOORS COLLAPSE !!... after all x HOWEVER...
I never said anything about .... wool...
or buttons and ribbon ..
and these cards just would NOT be left behind xx lol x

So good you got to take your Dad out..and Mum too...when you talk about a day out I always think of the photo of your Mum and Dad having an ice cream!! Makes me smile!! Love the wool and buttons and bits and the cards are very cute!
Sounds like a lovely day was had by all of you -especially your dad! Of course you had to buy that yarn - you'll use it and the buttons and the ribbon very very soon. I know!
I'm glad to know that he felt better and it will be fun to see if you live up to your goal of using up some of your stash instead of buying more.
I think it is cheating to say I am not buying fabric and then get wool! butas you were there... it would be far more expensive to have to go back for it!
Glad it was a good day out for you. Wool, buttons and cards definitely don't count in the 'not buying fabric' stakes!
