HOW HAS THE NEW YEAR...

... started for you? I have been doing a little sewing .... and tried a new technique.

My grandson is off to a NEW adventure in the NEW year .. he is going to live in Australia for a while.. so.. I wanted him to have something to remind him of the nutters ... whoops! ... family here! I found some printable fabric sheets .. and had a play..

..this should keep him comfy ... as long as it does not give him nightmares xx I will DEFINATLY be trying this out again xx

I was asked to do a simple baby quilt ..

tick that off the list x

AND I have finished my Christmas B-O-T-M ...

I have embellished it .. a bit!! There are sequins ...

and beads ..

and odd bits and pieces ALL OVER x Loved doing it x

Hope you had a good start too x

Love the Christmas BOM! What is the name of the pattern?

Hope your grandson enjoys his time in Australia. It will be quite an adventure for him.

What a great idea for James Diane. The printable fabric is fantastic. I've dabbled a little but am interested in experimenting more. A pillow cover was inspired. Each night he can go to sleep saying goodnight to you all. I'll be thinking of you, I know it is hard. xxxx

It's also a pity that, even though he will be in Australia, he will be on the other side of the country, 4500kms away from us all here. xxx
