HOORAY....

...they let us in !! AND IT WAS WONDERFUL xx If you get the chance to go for afternoon (high) tea...GO x We had the most wonderful time x

I SHOULD have taken tots of pictures to share ... but it was piddling down when we got there ... and running for the door was much more important!

I SHOULD have taken pictures of the cakes and the fabulous surroundings .. but we were having too much fun being pampered and eating!

SO..... here is my mum on the way home ..

the little white bag contains the very few cakes we really could not squeeze in! They were for dad xx

In the morning before we went , I screwed up my courage and went for the free machine quilting..

I LOVE this little hanging .. you cant see it but I sewed on beads and sequins as well x

Just got to get through tomorrow now xxx (KEEP every thing crossed)

Keep smiling

Diane x

Love the little hanging! I'm a little (well really a lot) jealous of your high tea.

That's lovely treating your Mum so well. Your hanging looks to have turned out very well.
I hadn't noticed you missing yet!

( I was taken to High Tea at the Dorchester in London - spoilt indeed! )

It really turned out a lovely project, very well done of you! I want to incorporate more things like beads or something else I am not sure, how do you like it?

Your mum looks as though she thoroughly enjoyed her trip out. She looks very elegant. FMQ is good and was definitely nothing to be afraid of.
