Going to work doesn't half cut into my sewing time!! OH well, got to get the money to feed my habit SOMEHOW... and I am sure there are worse ways to go about it!! lol
A very warm welcome to Alice hope you stay a while xx
WELL .. my January project-of-the-month is finished ....
DRUM ROLL (please)
The 2 centre panels are both A4 size, so I stuck with the rules of that as a starting point.
I don't usually work with strips of fabric, so I stuck with the rule of it being different.
I WAS challenged with this as having points that DELIBERATELY don't match is definitely something new....USUALLY it just happens lol x
OF course I had to use embellishments
This will be going to show-and-tell ( both my quilt groups restart in the next 2 weeks), and then it will be winging its way to Sally in Australia. The cushion pad is NOT going ... they can get their own!!
I found I did enjoy this ... I had begun to think it would NEVER happen! Now I can do "other" things before thinking about the February project xx
Keep smiling
Diane xx

What a great pillow! I love it! My favorite color is green.
I love your pillow, I made a green quilt and it was so much fun working w/fabrics.
That's lovely Diane. I love green, it is so restful. The embellishments are a great touch and I am sure that Sally will love it too.
So pretty:) x
I like your little embellishments!
Lovely pillow!
What a lovely cushion cover, I'm sure your daughter will love it. I need to get on and make some for myself. When I changed some to put Christmas cushion covers on I washed them, but got the settings mixed up on my new washing machine and they shrank dreadfully. So, new ones are needed.
Love your pillow!!!
Love it!! You know I have never made a pillow! Yours is wonderful. I mean its really neat. You inspire me Diane.
ohhh I love it, I need to learn how to put zips in pillow cases..
