to-day I have ...

Thank you for your lovely comments ,they make my day xx I would love to be going to the fabric sale in Nantwich (Civic Hall) 27 January. They always have great bargains...this year I will be in bed as it falls on my weekend to work. If any one is near by give it a look. There is also a lace and craft sale in the Civic Hall on March 4 th.....go have a look xx The post code for your SatNav is CW5 5DG.

Today has been Friday 13 ,and some folks don't like that! HOWEVER was my dads 82nd birthday. We went out for dinner...lovely food (why does it always taste better when someone else does the cooking?...and the washing up!). Then I took him home to his cards and presents. No cake today...we are having a party for him at Adams on Sunday, the cake will be on offer then! What he has got is a rather LARGE bottle of Navy rum! Goodness knows what he will be like tomorrow! He said he was going to have "just a bit...for medicinal purposes his tea!!" mmmm we will see!

When I came home I went in search of your GREEN offering for to-day ...I have been finding ALL SORTS! I found this little string of beads at the back of the drawer..

THEY will be used soon!

Now the next few pictures are of what I did next. NOT GREEN ,but blue.

My friend has a birthday soon, she had seen and fallen in love with the GREEN cushion ... but not the colour!

So . I made the centre a square instead of an oblong, changed the colour, and tried out some new beads well it wouldn't be me if there were NO embellishments xx

Keep smiling

Diane xx

Love the pillow! Really love the embellishment! It adds so much to the pillow. I never think of embellishing but maybe I should try!

Happy Birthday to your dad! Love the pillow and the embellishments (even if it isn't green)!

Love the pillow. You know you do very good work! Happy Birthday to your Dad. It was my Husbands birthday too. He is 65. I'm probably old enough to be your mother. I'm going on 64. But you are wonderful and I love your blogs.
