I KNOW...BUT

I KNOW that yesterday I said I would leave my blog until I came home from the theatre BUT....
I changed my mind!! I decided I would ,instead, tell you what I have been doing today.

I finished the Halloween quilt...... (it is VERY windy this morning ...so I was trying to hang onto it AND take the picture! lol)

I quilted BIG stitches around the various "features" and then started adding embellishments .... I added big rick-rack on two sides, then added flowers to all the flowers on the pannel and the middle of the pin wheels xx

I left the flowers free on the edges so that there will be even more movement on the quilt xx

I have really enjoyed making this one... it will go to show-and-tell on Tuesday and then Joan can see what I have done with her fabric and panel xx

The other project I made today is the 6 inch centre block for  the "Modern Mini Mystery Round Robin" (see yesterdays post x waiting for Adam to put up the button/thingy!) we are not to show the complete thing.... just teaser! SO... here is the first...

It is now here....

and ready to go xx

Keep smiling

Diane xx

This is wonderful! I love the hand quilting around the big flowers, gives it so much depth. Now, you just need to get your costume ready. ;)
