as you may have guessed THAT IS NOT WHAT I DID IN THE END!!
What I did do was....
put the dogs in the car, collected the parents and headed into Wales.... we went to Prestatyn (North Wales) for dinner!
this was my mums "small" portion.... mine and my dads portions were somewhat bigger!! ALL were eaten..dogs got NOTHING!!
On the way we did have a slight detour..
I got ...this fabric (there is about 2 meters... cost me £2.50!!)
this wonderful rick-rack..sorry it is blurry!
AND this fleece
The day was wonderful....we had sunshine, and some wind
they seem to think they are GOATS not dogs xx
NOW this is how my companions are spending the evening!
SHH don't tell... I have had a little snooze too the snoring is pretty LOUD!!
Welcome to our latest friend here at The Cheshire Quilter,Jane has joined in with us from ....... WALES xx
keep smiling

Looks like a great way to spend a day off. Did you go to Abakhan in Chester? I only discovered it a couple of weeks ago. Once I got my head around the selling by weight rather than length thing, I was away and could have bought so much more fabric, You were very restained.
Looks like you had a grand day! Better than mine, spent in the yard most of the day. So glad you had a good time!
What a wonderful day, I wish I was in the UK for the opening of Sweeney Todd this week, but I got to see it in Chichester.
Lovely fabric there and that ric rac looks like a must have. ( I haven't seen it here yet. )
Now, that's the way to start your holiday. Well done. Much better than housework.
What a great way to spend your day. Love that ricrac!. And Yum those Fish n Chips sure look good. Hmm, getting close now to dinner time here.
