IT IS OFFICIAL...

...the Met office has said June was the wettest ...most rain.. and dullest.. least amount of sunshine... EVER!!! July has continued the trend... we will see what records we can break this month! Sam is not worried..

despite lots of nice clean water in his bowl .... he wants to drink the dirty water out of the plant pots and puddles !

FIRST BROWN quilt today. I made this as a wall hanging some years ago..

at the time I had 3 cats (now sadly all gone) 2 big fat toms and a slimline queen ...

for them I quilted mice around 2 borders..

and for me flowers around the other 2..

it is one of my favourites xu

keep smiling

ps. the spell check on blogger seems to have either gone to sleep.. or .. be sulking! SO all spelling mistakes are ....ALL MINE x

Nice quilt. I have lots of fabrics like that from when I was in my brown phase : ) I am glad we are not the only ones with lousy weather.

Love the hand quilted little mice. So cute. It has been really wet here as well. Oops, just saw that Carla said that. lol.

Quilted mice! very clever. Love the eggs, by the way.

Nice quilt. I really don't know why we bother putting fresh water down for our animals, my cat is just the same as Sam. Surely the rain can't keep on like this??

We could sure use all that rain in Texas.

My dog never seems to drink from his clean inside house bowl, he likes to go outside and drink from a puddle.

Your hand quilting is very nice, do you always hand quilt?

My Tommy and Priscilla love to go outside and drink the water from the fish pond! It must taste better than the fresh stuff,

Your quilt is lovely, I'm sure your cats appreciated the mice you did for them - cats notice these things!

Sweet. At least you'll always have it to remember your fur babies by.
