.. well this morning anyway, the car had to go for a service....... in Northwich... about 35 min drive from home . That meant I was to be sat there for 1.5 hours!!
I took along the owl quilt and now...
Ta-Da..
the quilt is made...(I dashed out between the downpours to get these pictures... the things I do!)!
OK! I came home and finished it off here! BUT I really settled to it xx
I quilted LOTS of circles...
and while I was not too keen to begin with NOW I like it (NOT love... but, definitely LIKE)
keep smiling
Diane xx

The circles really suit it - big round owl eyes. It looks lovely now it's finished.
Nice fabrics and the quilt is goodlooking!

The quilting is lovely. Circles were just the right thing.
It's an inspired quilt and the circles are just right. Your quilting is so neat! What kind of thread are you using?
So now what are you going to do during the Olympics? lol. Love the quilting!
The owl quilt turned out very nicely. I really like the circles you quilted. Very pretty
very neat and very cute. you put in a useful service time there!
I am still looking for inspiration. My son wants "green, brown, and owls" on his wedding quilt.I have a feeling I might be looking for owl prints when I am in the states.
Hey, I have those fabrics! Very fun.
Cute. There seem to be a lot of owl prints around at the moment and they're always very pretty. That's a lot of circles to stitch too.
Well done mum, I love the owls :)x
Just watching your boyfriend on the Jubilee concert Di. Lovely voice and easy on the eye. :-)
