THE OLYMPIC TOURCH RELAY...

...passes the end of my street tomorrow morning, I do not know how many people will be there... the road is closed between 07.00 and 09.30.. will have to see if I can get some pictures xx

HOWEVER for today the BLUE theme continues, this wall hanging...

it was made from bits and pieces..

I was seeing how many different ways I could embellish the same shape..
I also added beads to the border fabric..

Just to brighten it up you understand xx... I even remembered to add a label.

Keep smiling

Diane xx

I'm avoiding Crewe tomorrow. Don't think I've got a chance of getting to work at a reasonable time, so I've booked the day off. Good on you for braving the crowds. Fingers crossed, it stays dry.

There's always such excitement in your world! How neat it would be to have them pass in front of my house. The wildest thing that happens around here is the occasional deer in the garden. Looking forward to your pictures. Oh and Diane, quite by accident I've a blue theme on my blog today, didn't realize I was copying your theme...LOL

Yes, it passes our house tomorrow afternoon. On two sides. When I am at work! I hope my husband will video it going past, so I can see it later.
This is the nearest to excited I can get about the olympics, and I won't even be there.

Love your blue hearts!

How exciting is that!!! When the Winter Olympic Games were last held (here in Canada!!!) the torch came through our town and we were out there in the cold and the dark watching it go by!! The girls even got to hold one of the extinguished torches! I have a picture of it somewhere on my computer. It was sooooo cool!

Have fun tomorrow!

What a pretty quilt, I love the use of blue for the hearts instead of the usual pink or red. Enjoy the excitement, I hope you get a good view of the torch.
