CAN YOU HEAR....

me singing...FREEDOM xx sorry about the lack of a tune!! I am sure you appreciate the sentiment though xx

I don't know if this qualifies as a PINK post, or if it is more RED... but I managed to get this picture ... between downpours (WHAT drought!!)....

This is a favourite corner of mine in the garden. The flame bush was bought for me by Adam many years ago, and the Asa was planted by my mum ...also many years ago...

Being at work CRAMPS my sewing.... however it does not STOP it. This last week I have been making this baby quilt.

I wanted to try out the block placement for a quilt I want to make

and felt if I made a baby quilt then it will come in handy when the next one is requested

there are ALWAYS baby quilts needed!!

I like to have a practice for blocks

and for the fabric placement

that way I get mistakes out of my system... mostly!

So, it seems as if I will have at least one project to work on on my nights off ... lol xx

Keep smiling

Diane xx

Your garden is lovely. You can send us some of your rain, it's been a bit dry here! ;)

Very cute baby quilt! I hate when work gets in the way!

Cute little jungle quilt. I'm sure some baby will just love spitting up on it. Have a great day!

Your garden is so pretty and your baby quilts are adorable! We're in a real drought in Massachusetts but it is supposed to rain this weekend. My lawn looks a little bit on the yellow side!

Your shrubs are looking bright and healthy. I have that Pieris called Forest Flame and I love it when it gets that bright red new growth like yours has. I have 2 other of that family all a bit different. It is a shrub I remember from both my Mum's garden and my Nana's garden.

Very pretty flowers and a darling baby quilt. I admire quilters who are ahead of the game. I seem to be rushing to catch up.
