This morning when I was watering the garden ( I used a watering can NOT a hose pipe ... we don't have a ban here in Cheshire though) I saw this lady visitor..
BLAIR ... take note its a Bumble-Bee. She flew off just after so I could not get a better picture!
Then I took the dogs for a LONG walk , so, the only interruption to my sewing this afternoon was ... SNORING! I can cope with that! lol x
I sewed the 2 sets of hexagons together for Congleton quilt group...
Then , I used the New-York-Beauty block I started but did not like to make a table mat....
as you can see it is PINK, as you know, that is the colour for this month, and it is to be used with food... which is the theme for this months challenge xx ...success x
Tomorrow I am going to use the other half to make another one. I used THINSULATE which was a first for me. It made it a bit thick to work with...however with the walking foot in place it worked fine . I made the binding a bit wider ... so no problems there either x
They will be winging their way to Sally... and BLAIR when they are finished (think I have mentioned him enough now ? ... lol)

have you noticed if the bumble bees are setting up house in the hole in the brick work on the out side of the kitchen wall
