I MUST HAVE...

... plugged a hole in my Time Leak because I actually had a little bit of time to sew!! OH YES xx Go ME!!! lol x

So .. I made my November swap block for the Christmas Block Swap...

....AND I have time to Blog as well x Its been a creative morning here in a wet and gloomy UK x

Sally and family will be here soon (from Australia xxxxx) and they are SO going to notice the cold .. SO I made her another shawl to put over her shoulders while she is feeding baby ...

AND I made my last Christmas shawl.. (I LOVE this wool sooooo much)

THIS and the BLUE one are going to be soooo hard to part with .. I am going to wrap them up to stop me touching and longing to keep them xx lol x

Just in case I don't get to post again before Sunday ...

....my brother is on his way to London as I write this .. he was in the Army for 24 years and every year they go down for the Service Of Remembrance .. this Sunday .....when he will be marching past the Cenotaph (and The Queen) with his regiment.

Hope you get some time to be creative

Diane x

I love the Christmas Block, the shawls are so so awesome. Family is coming that is wonderful. I am going to copy the poppy photo to use in my blog, is that okay?

Glad you stopped the leak. I find writing a to do list and sticking to it helps.
I bet you are excited about the visitors especially the newest one.

Hi Diane, I think I found the plug too, today I quilted a UFO that's been hanging around for ages! Lovely knitting as always, where do you find the patterns? Lx

So good to hear you plugged that pesky leak!!! Aghhhhh....exciting the baby (and family) will be with you soon!!! The shawls are beautiful Diane...I am sure the family will notice the cold, although it isn't that hot yet in our part of Aus. Hope your brother has an enjyable time catching up with mates.

Really pleased that your family are going to be with you soon - what a lovely shawl for your daughter, it will get a lot of use, I'm sure!

I certainly would not like to be travelling to the UK at this time - our weather is really quite hot for this time of the year, with nasty storms each evening!(as I write, one has just begun)
Your very lucky to have plugged your timewarp up and get some sewing done.

I'm so happy to be the recipient of the lovely orange shawl for Christmas. Thank you Diane. You are an exceptionally beautiful knitter, good tension and quality. I feel very privileged to own one xxx (I'm the new babies other Granny, in Australia)
