OH MY GOODNESS!!....

..... YES I'm back xx

I have been AWOL for a while ... but I have dusted off the cobwebs and found a moment of quiet to come back x

Mum has been in hospital.. had a big op that knocked the stuffing out of her .. and even SHE had to admit that she felt "unwell! xx ....HOWEVER she is now home .

It is going to take some time .. but hopefully .. she is on the road to recovery xx.. lets hope she stays on that road x

Between hospital visiting .. WHY is that so draining? ..  looking out for my dad ... AND carrying out all the "orders" being issued from the hospital bed!!.. I have not had a lot of free time x

HOWEVER there has been some crafting going on ... and I will share them over the next couple of days.

I was asked to make 2 bags ...

.. scrappy .. so using up some stash which is always good x
They went in the post and are already loved and in use ... which is always a nice thing to hear x

Grandson no. 2 ...as many of you know.. lives in Perth in Western Australia ... so, has no need of the woolly hats that I have been making for the others .....HOWEVER he will be with us .. here in England which will be somewhat cooler!!! .. at Christmas this year ....

he sent me a "request" for 2 hats x The first was made..

I sent him a picture .. and the reply was... WHERE IS THE BOBBLE? .. so a bobble was made and attached..

lol x The second hat is now made...

......and yes it has a bobble on the top x

To finish for to-day here is a little Good Friday colour from my garden

Have a good day

Diane x

Nice bags and great hats! Both the same colour - must be his favourite! I have tulips too but I bought them at the store and they are in a vase on my table. No flowers out here yet.

Hopefully mum will continue to mend and get to see her great grandson wearing his bobble hats at Christmas. :-)
He's right you know, a good cosy hat needs a bobble.

Sorry to hear about your Mum Diane, I hope she is well and truly on the mend now. Hospital visiting is exhausting, when you think about it, it is not just visiting but everything else that goes with it and your normal routine goes out the window!! It is wonderful to see you back blogging though. Great bags you have made, and those hats will be much appreciated I am sure, lovely to have your grandson coming for a visit. That is a beautiful tulip you have in your garden, always great to see spring coming.

So glad to see you blogging again as I was a bit concerned. Glad to learn that your mom is home and improving. Let her know that best wishes are being sent her way from across the pond.

You seem very good at filling requests. No wonder you get so many!
