I DID enjoy making these .They have gone in the post .. along with yesterdays efforts x
Pam and I went to see Les Mis last night , as you know I was not all together ecstatic to be going ....HOWEVER... I was suitably ... and pleasantly.. surprised They made a good job of it . I would give them 8 out of 10. The singing was weak from some of them... but they went for named actors to bring in the money ... and lets face it who is going to compete against MY dream team of Alfie Boe, Phillip Quast and Micheal Ball? EXACTLY!!!!
mm I wonder if the sewing this am was influenced by my listening to the 25th Anniversary concert ..again!!? He-He xx
Keep smiling
Diane xx

Cute blocks! As for the Kona Coal, Annie at The Village Haberdashery is where I get mine from x
I really love the blocks - and am imagining them being made to Alfie.
Listening to wonderful music certainly makes the sewing easier. Great blocks!
You are such a sweetie you mentioned MB and oh how I wish Alfie was in Les Mis. but I was very excited to see who the priest was in the film. I am glad he was in it. I just did a quilt with black stripes/you have grey and it really came out great.
Gorgeous blocks you have made there - I just love grey with any colour combination!
Now I will have to go to Les Mis - since you have recommended it!
Hi Diane, they are lovely blocks you've sewn there... glad Les Mis was tolerable!!
Live the colour palette of the blocks. Glad you enjoyed Les Mis even if it wasn't your first choice
Your blocks here are very nice. I like the gray. And it was nice to read your comments on Les Mis. I didn't see it. I'm waiting for the TV version. I also want to thank you for your comments on my blog. Theses pieces are hard for me to sew. I'm thinking about increasing the size of the block but then it wouldn't be a quilt along, so I will continue to finish. So nice to have you as my follower Diane. Best wishes to you.
