MY LOVELY DAUGHTER...

... who lives in Australia has decided (!) that she wants a "proper" Advent calendar for next Christmas x SO the first fabric of the New Year to come through my door is this pack...

I recon I have 9 months to get it made and sent in the post... giving time for it to arrive on time to put up on the first x NOW all I have to do is NOT put it in a SAFE place!! OH! and make it of course He-He

Keep smiling

Diane xx

Diane, I'm not sure it's legal to use the 'C' word this early in the year. :-)

It looks like at least you won't have to applique those numbers on. My daughter said her daughter had fun arranging the ornaments for her tree and then putting them into the pockets. She said the little daughter is now planning the arrangement for next year. It is fun to make something that will be used and become a family tradition.

She is so right, everyone needs a REAL Advent Calendar, though if this was me it would get put aside for the next 10 months whilst i made "urgent" things, and then be a last minute rush!! : )

That's a really lovely-looking Advent Calender, Diane.
You will get it finished no problem, because you don't want to disappoint your daughter!

Great idea putting it in a safe place. Remind me when you begin to work on it, I have a Christmas quilt I will need to finish, only because I didn't finish it last year.
