....that my partner has received her Halloween-Round-Robin block, so I can show you the borders I added (the flying geese)....
I have worked on mine and will be posting it off towards the end of the month.
To-day I decided to work on the Hive #3 block (that I thought I had made yesterday!!)...
I read the instruction, I chose the fabric, I cut , I sewed... I ripped and resewed....REPEAT ALL of above and ... REPEAT ONCE MORE ....now ....this...
is what is going in the post...
As you know I love Dresden plate blocks and quilts... I just could NOT do it! I tried 2 different rulers... I tried making the blocks as directed NO it is not going to happen! So I admitted defeat... and have moved on.... the blocks?
they are in a deep dark place from which they will NEVER appear
Trying to keep smiling

they are relegated to the naughty pile ..
guess we all have one of those!
You managed to make such small geese, so you will surely figure out that silly dresden block. Great stuff!
Lovely flying geese. I presume you have tried the template method for Dresden Plate?
Not like you to be defeated, love. However, we all have days when something just isn't working! So chin up, head high and , yes, keep that smile!
Would it help, or be an imposition if I had a go in your name?
Just a thought!
Your flyig geese look right at home on the halloween piece!
Isn't it strange how we just can't get it on some days - never mind there's always tomorrow!
I know that place, Di. The Bin, that's after they've hit the wall. Never mind, it's only an off day :)
The Halloween one is wonderful so far. As for the other....you were just having a bad day. I'm sure there aren't many of those and you're back to your normal self now.
