THE KINDESS....

.. way to describe the weather here is ... AWFULL! It is dark and wet with a nasty icy feeling wind.. and it is only early afternoon! YUCK!

SO... I have pulled up the draw bridge, closed the curtains and out has come the knitting x

The 12 Days of Christmas hanging is coming along...

...there would have been more done over the weekend .. however I had a visitor for over Saturday night ...

.....oh course I had to let her pay her way and so .. washing up was a lot of fun x .. got to start them young xx lol x

My son who is MUCH closer to 40 than 35(!) has told me that he doesn't see why all the grandchildren get hats with bobbles ... and he didn't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO when the wall hanging is finished .. guess what the next project for their house will be!!  MEN ... they NEVER GROW UP ! lol x

A few more of the shawls/scalfs from the summer months..

I hope your weather is A LOT nicer.. or at least that you can cosy up in the warm and craft something fun x

Your dishwasher looks well practiced already! I'm glad that you are starting them out on the "right" path and playtime in water is the BEST way!!!

Now I understand your sun comment!! We have pinched the sun and taken it to the southern hemisphere!! Sorry about that!! How cute is your little helper!! Very good idea to start them young. Your shawls/scarves are beautiful, make a lovley splash of colour in your yard. Sounds like your son needs a many bobbled hat!!

I think that nasty weather is making the rounds. I certainly am glad it has left Tokyo. I'd almost forgotten what "sky blue" meant. Good season to get out a bit of knitting or quilting.

Having wonderful weather here in the states. I am busy with cross stitching at the moment. I have been watching many Brits on Floss Tube on
You tube. Two of my favorites are Stitch in time (she does knitting also) & Hedgerow. Glad to hear from you.

Hi Diane, What type of music does Alfie Boe sing? I love the 3 tenors and Pavarotti, is he anything like that? I love your little helper, nothing wrong with starting them young, my Mum started us off young and we've all been pretty good housekeepers. I love your knitting, I've never learnt to do lace knitting and wish you were a little closer so you could teach me. I can't find a group down here, they are all so far away. xx
