THERE HAS BEEN..

... some sewing going on here this week x I am on track with the bags This..
.. is this weeks all done , and, the other 6 are done as well...



It was Congleton quilt group last Tuesday .. we had an on the night make. Its a heart ready for St. Valentines day..



...mine has become a pocket on the front of a little bag for my granddaughter to cart her "stuff" around x Every child needs a bag xx lol x






It was Sandbach quilt group on Thursday.. we had 2 ladies who talked about and showed wonderful church banners . I forgot to take my camera!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry .. but it was a wonderful talk xx

My peace lily is coming along...





.. lovely to have some flowers to look at .. esp. when the weather is wet ,windy and cold xx .. not complaining !! I prefer this (as you know to what the family have in Australia xx lol                                                                                               

I finished the shawl that was on the needles last week ... I made this one with DK weight ... it must be the cold weather wanting one I can wrap around ... and around .... lol ....

I sure would have liked to see those church banners and hear that talk.
Every granddaughter needs one of those bags ... and my own #3 daughter is the champion bag lady ... the bigger the better!

Great fabric you have used for the bags Diane, especially the scottie dogs. Your granddaughter will love that bag, great use of the heart block. Another beautiful shawl/scarf, that one will keep you warm. Your peace lily is looking great.

Yes, every little girl needs a bag to take her 'stuff' around! I remember a peculiar style of moulded plastic 'basket'from when I was small. Hideous even to a four year old's eyes. Your grand daughter at least has a pretty bag!

Love your granddaughter's bag and I bet she does too. I can see that you have a lot of fun with the shawls and the different patterns. I always like trying out different patterns in knitting too. So fantastic how twisting the yarn one way or another can make different intricate designs.
